The Magic of Novotel Imagica!

Novotel Imagica (“NI”) is nestled amongst the beautiful Shivalik Mountains of Maharashtra in a small town  – Khopoli off the Mumbai – Pune expressway and is the only hotel attached to an adventure park ie Imagica and Aquamagica!

We got this amazing opportunity to head over to NI to spend an amazing weekend with them along  with 4 other bloggers, kickstarting the last quarter of 2018 with a bang!

an approximately 1.5 hour drive from mumbai, we started off at around 9 and after some initial hiccups reached safely at around 11:30 am.  We checked in to our amazing room (We are talking king sized bed, huge glass windows, sofas, minibar, lots of space and a bathtub!) and after a quick rest were escorted by the management towards their in house 24 hour restaurant The Square. Lunch, breakfast and dinner was a lavish specially curated spread ranging from bread and cheese to salads, appetizers, mains, desserts and a live counter with an abundance of options all better than the other with cocktails and mocktails to go.

For the foodies out there, dont think that lunch is some run of the mill resort buffet lunch. The spread here is huge, with a variety of options and cuisines including really fun options for kids as well.  We specially loved their smoked salmon salad, mutton dum biryani, oriental prawns, pea sauce basa, stuffed mushroom crostini… the list is long.

Around 5 in the evening, we were treated to a session of high tea and gourmet snacks with karaoke and games followed by a mixology session. We were treated to some of Novotels exotic concoctions ranging from sangria to daiquris, a tad bit to strong for us! but nonetheless really yummy!! After a quick swim, we headed for dinner.

Weekends at Novotel are also lit up with live performances and unplugged music at The Square during dinner and brunch. We got to witness performances by some amazing singers which totally made our dinner on saturday and lunch on sunday way more pleasurable.

Mainly a family resort, they have a lot of indoor complimentary and paid activities to keep families entertained along with a fully equipped gym, and children play area.

Karaoke, air hockey, fooseball, carrom, spa, leg massage, fish spa are some of the attractions there, along with a swimming pool ofcourse. They also have an inhouse astrologer who will enlighten you about your future at a cost in the present 😛 Adjacent to the swimming pool is an outdoor bar and sheesha section, where you can have your drinks delivered to you while your cooling off the september sun with a dip in the pool!

The staff of Novotel is extremely courteous and helpful and will do everything in their capacity to make your stay and experience comfortable and memorable. Daily at 10 am, they have a parade called irolic parade, which is very similar to the imagica and disneyland parade, loud and lively enough to wake you from your groggy sleep. This parade includes dance performances from talented dancers and all your childhood cartoon characters which starts in the lobby and moves on to the restaurant where the characters are dancing and entertaining all the diners in there for breakfast. Breakfast again, dear foodies is a delight – you ask for it and it will be there. muffins, donuts, croissants, cheese, breads, sausages, south indian, eggs and waffles and pancakes which according to me were the best!

Novotel also has a dedicated desk for imagica and aquamagica bookings, wherein you can book your tickets directly from the hotel at special discounted rates and then head over to the park.

To sum it up! We had an amazing start to our september, thanks to Novotel Imagica, and we would love to recommend this place to families and individuals looking at spending a delightful weekend away from the city. Dont forget the tree plantation drive they have on sunday mornings!

Novotel Imagica also hosts weddings and corporate events.
